MAKA is a child education oriented project based on idea of curating cartoons and shows according to child’s development state and parents preferences in order to make sure exposing kids to valuable and educational content.
The project is in development stage and I was responsible for UI and UX design as well as creative direction. The output was a web app dedicated to be used on desktop and tablet.
Parents were the primary target group for the design solution, and the design process involved interviews and testing with selected parents.
To ensure a playful and child friendly character of the design, I used 3D illustrations and a lead koala bear mascot assisting the young user throughout interaction with the product.
The project touched upon an important topic of protecting children growing up in digitalised world from harmful and misleading information distributed through content directed to kids.
