Topdanmark is one of the biggest insurance companies in Denmark. During my full time contract at 1508 I worked on creating a refreshed web presence for the company and building engaging user experience.
The project was not implemented as for now.
The main design assumptions included making the visual apparance of the website as clean and as accessible as possible. We suggested a redefined navigation system based on a floaty and accessible at all times menu ensuring intuitive user experience.
As an addition to company's blue brand colors, two highlight colors were introduced – sage green and peach used for highlighting important information, discount deals and wayfinding.
For a more engaging and visually pleasing experience, we suggested the use of high quality, clean photography and friendly, yet simple illustrations that would guide the user through pages.
The concept was based on simplicity and an airy feel, with generous use of white space. The use of cards and bento boxes based layouts ensured a modern, interactive character for the proposed design solution.
